The good news is, that KTM Berhad has just announced the much-anticipated return of the MySawasdee special train—an express train service from KL to Hat Yai and back for only RM75. This special train is available for a limited time and is back for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration.
Those who frequently travel with KTM Berhad to the Thailand border know that this special train service operates sparingly throughout the year. So, it’s not always that you can get this limited offer!
This special direct train from KL to Hat Yai is only available on 9 and 12 February 2024
According to the KTM Berhad Facebook page, the MySawasdee special train is only available on 9 February and 12 February 2024. The details of the trains are as follows:
9 February: Depart from KL Sentral at 10:40 p.m. and arrive at Hat Yai at 9:05 p.m. the next day.
12 February: Depart from Hat Yai at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at KL Sentral at 11:05 p.m. the same day.
With the ticket price of only RM75 one-way, the express train offers some unique features, promising an enjoyable experience with its special coach featuring disco-like lights for you to party all the way to Hat Yai. You can also choose from seating or sleeper berth coaches.
