From the moment we arrived, the inviting natural surroundings and fresh air made us forget the hustle and bustle of city life, setting the stage for a memorable day outdoors.
More than just a farm, Farm Fresh @ UPM offers a window into sustainable agriculture and ethical dairy practices. It’s a place where you can get close to nature and learn about everything from animal care to organic farming in a fun, interactive way.
Activities & Experience at Farm Fresh @ UPM
We began our tour with a tractor ride, a 20-minute journey that meandered through the farm’s expansive fields. We gained insights into the farm’s sustainable practices and could see various plantations. The gentle ride allowed us to fully appreciate the farm’s lush landscapes and serene environment.
Next, we explored the Furry Friends Playground, where we interacted with a variety of animals such as cows, rabbits, deer, and chickens. The enclosures were well-maintained, ensuring both the safety of the animals and the visitors. Children, in particular, enjoyed feeding and petting the friendly rabbits and observing the cows up close.
During our visit, we had the chance to get up close with the cows too. Observing the cows in their relaxed environment gave us a glimpse into the ethical practices of Farm Fresh, focusing on sustainable dairy farming that prioritizes animal welfare.
Scenery & Ambiance
The farm’s scenery was truly captivating, with vast green pastures stretching endlessly under a sky so clear and blue it felt like a painting. The fields were meticulously organized, which created a picturesque, postcard-worthy landscape. It was as if we had stepped into a countryside retreat, far removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The gentle rustling of leaves, the chirping of birds, and the soft, distant calls of animals all added to the tranquil ambiance, creating a harmonious backdrop for our visit. This peaceful setting offered a welcome respite from city life, where we could slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature in a way that felt genuinely refreshing. It was the perfect escape, where every moment invited us to relax and simply take in the calm beauty around us.
Fresh Ice Cream
After the tour, we visited Cream Hauz, an on-site ice cream shop offering fresh milk soft serve and other flavors made from the farm’s dairy. The ice cream was creamy and rich, providing a delightful treat to cool off after exploring the farm.
We also stopped by the farm’s retail outlet to purchase fresh milk and other dairy products. The milk, sourced directly from the farm’s cows, was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. Additionally, the shop offered a selection of organic fruits and vegetables.
