BMW Malaysia has officially launched pre-booking for the new iX2 xDrive30 EV. The vehicle features dual-motor all-wheel drive with 313 hp and 494 Nm of torque. It has a 66.5kWh battery offering a range of up to 449km. Recharging is quick with DC charging support up to 130kW.
Recharging the battery is convenient and efficient, with DC charging support of up to 130kW. This enables the battery to go from 10% to 80% state of charge in just 29 minutes. The automaker offers either a Flexible Fast Charger or a Wallbox that allows the owner to charge the EV at home.
The BMW iX2 features a sleek design with a height of 1600 mm and a length of 4500 mm. The front showcases a redesigned closed kidney grille with a black mesh grille and high-gloss black frame, featuring BMW Kidney Iconic Glow that will steal the show especially in the dark. The adaptive LED headlights with BMW Selective Beam and 20-inch M light alloy wheels add to the car’s dynamic appearance.
Also, the car’s lighting setup includes innovative LED fibre tech for a striking lighting effect that is visible when the car doors open, close, or when it is driven.
The BMW X2 electric model boasts a spacious cabin with premium materials and advanced tech features. The interior includes vegan leather upholstery in various color options. The vehicle is equipped with Intelligent Personal Assistant, QuickSelect control system, BMW OS 9 infotainment system, and Harman Kardon speakers.
Besides, the user interface features a new home screen with customizable widgets for easy access to functions. BMW Maps and Proactive Care enhance navigation and service management. The ergonomic sports seats provide total support during dynamic cornering or with a sportier driving style.
The iX2 xDrive30 features ergonomic sport seats for support during dynamic driving. It includes Active Guard Basis, Driving Assistant Plus, and Parking Assistant Plus systems for enhanced safety. Driving Assistant Plus offers features like Active Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning with active steering intervention. Parking Assistant Plus provides advanced parking assistance, while Active Guard Basis provides warnings and interventions for lane departure, front collision, left turning, and speed limit violations, enhancing safety on the road.
Owners will receive a five-year Unlimited Mileage Warranty, Free Scheduled Service Programme, an eight-year or 160,000km Battery Warranty, BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, as well as BMW Service Online.
The new BMW iX2 xDrive30 is available in Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Skyscraper Gray, Cape York Green, Fire Red, M Portimao Blue, and M Brooklyn Grey.
The Malaysia-spec model is priced at RM 282,800 (on-road without insurance) including a five-year, unlimited mileage warranty with free scheduled servicing, an eight-year, 160,000 km battery warranty, BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, and BMW Service Online.
