Jointly organised by Mango Media and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, with support from Silian Siwawa Guizhou (丝恋丝娃娃) and the Malaysia Guizhou Chamber of Commerce, the Discover Guizhou Media Preview & Experiential Event was successfully held today at Level 9, Pavilion Elite, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, officially kicking off a month-long cultural tourism promotion showcasing the unique heritage, traditions and tourism offerings of China’s Guizhou Province in Malaysia.
Hosted at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the campaign transforms Pavilion Elite into a vibrant cultural destination, with the Guizhou Cultural Street serving as its experiential zone where visitors can immerse themselves in the sights, flavours and traditions of Guizhou. Featuring ethnic cultural showcases, interactive experiences, traditional craftsmanship, authentic Guizhou cuisine and destination presentations, the experience brings Guizhou’s rich cultural heritage, diverse ethnic traditions and tourism appeal closer to Malaysians, while celebrating the growing cultural and tourism ties between Malaysia and China.
As the opening event of the broader campaign, the Discover Guizhou Media Preview & Experiential Event offered the media an exclusive first look at Guizhou’s cultural and tourism experiences while building anticipation for the upcoming Discover Guizhou — China–Malaysia Cultural Tourism and Audiovisual Exchange Journey. The initiative also reinforces cultural exchange and tourism collaboration between Malaysia and Guizhou, paving the way for deeper bilateral engagement in the future.

As the flagship event of the campaign, the Discover Guizhou — China–Malaysia Cultural Tourism and Audiovisual Exchange Journey will take place on Saturday, 29 August 2026, further strengthening cultural, tourism and audiovisual collaboration between China and Malaysia.
The event will officially unveil Guizhou’s tourism promotion initiatives for the Malaysian market, highlighting the province’s spectacular natural landscapes, diverse ethnic cultures and distinctive tourism experiences. It aims to inspire more Malaysians to discover Guizhou as their next travel destination.
The event will bring together representatives from the tourism industry, media and strategic partners to celebrate an important milestone in promoting Guizhou tourism in Malaysia. Guests can also look forward to destination presentations, cultural performances and networking sessions that further strengthen tourism collaboration and people-to-people exchanges between Malaysia and Guizhou.
