The Rolls-Royce Spectre is now officially available in Malaysia, arriving less than a year after its global debut in October 2022 as an all-electric coupe. This remarkable vehicle marks the British luxury brand’s first fully electric production model.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre starts at RM2 million in Malaysia, excluding options and taxes. This luxurious EV coupe includes a standard 4-year unlimited mileage warranty, along with an impressive 10-year warranty for its high-voltage battery. Rolls-Royce also offers 24/7 roadside assistance, and in the event of a complete battery drain, their team will transport the Spectre to the nearest charging station.

Regarding performance, Rolls-Royce has gone a step further by enhancing the Spectre’s chassis, making it 30% stiffer than any previous model. This achievement is made possible through innovations like integrated batteries and extruded aluminium sections. The battery not only provides power but also serves as an impressive 700 kg of sound insulation.
The charging only takes around 34 minutes to reach a 10-80% state of charge

The Spectre’s battery provides an impressive 520 km of range on the WLTP testing standard. It has two electric drive motors, one on each axle, which together deliver all-wheel drive with a total output of 585 PS and 900 Nm of torque. This results in a quick 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 4.5 seconds.
Charging the Spectre is easy, with support for up to 195 kW DC charging, allowing you to reach a 10-80% state of charge in only 34 minutes. Using a 50 kW DC charger for the same 10-80% state of charge will take 95 minutes, while a full 0-100% charge from a 22 kW AC home charger will require five hours and 30 minutes.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre showcases the widest Pantheon grille ever

Talking about the design, the Spectre showcases the widest Pantheon grille ever found on a Rolls-Royce. It’s accentuated with 22 individual LEDs for a striking appearance. The car also incorporates a dual-tier lighting setup, featuring distinct daytime running lights and main headlamps.
Additionally, the Spectre’s aluminium pillarless coach doors are the largest ever fitted to a Rolls-Royce vehicle, measuring nearly 1.5 meters in length. These doors come equipped with the Effortless Doors power-assisted system, allowing them to automatically close when the driver applies the brake pedal.
The world’s first ultra-luxury EV super coupe

Rolls-Royce’s commitment to ride quality is evident in the Spectre, featuring the Starlight Doors and Starlight Headliner, with more than 6,000 individual LED “stars” throughout the cabin. There is also an illuminated fascia on the passenger side of the dashboard, featuring over 5,500 stars.
Rolls-Royce did not delve into the Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) within the Spectre in great detail. However, the company did mention that the EV is equipped with Active Lane Centring and Adaptive Cruise Control, which can work simultaneously, indicating that the EV has Level 2 driving automation.

Yes, there are hidden umbrellas on both sides of the Spectre. This is a signature element that Rolls-Royce is known for, and the brand continues to uphold this unique feature even in the Spectre.
