Potato Corner, a popular Filipino snack brand known for serving the world’s best-flavoured fries, has officially entered the Malaysian market with its flagship store in Sunway Pyramid.
The international snack brand’s outlet is located on LG2. Patrons can easily spot the brand’s signature green and yellow colours, and apparently, the outlet is still capturing attention with its long queues visible from afar.
The world’s best-flavored fries
Dubbed the world’s best-flavoured fries, Potato Corner offers a variety of flavoured fries: Cheese, BBQ, Chilli BBQ, and Sour Cream. The brand explained that they only use fries of the highest grade from the best producers. Currently, all fries are sourced from Europe to deliver the finest quality.

The outlet not only sells flavoured fries but also serves Super Chicken Pop, where you can opt for your preferred flavours. Price-wise, it is affordable, with options ranging from Large (RM8.90) to Tera (RM26.90).
Potato Corner is a Filipino brand, started in 1992 by four friends. The brand has grown from a network of small kiosks to sit-down diners around the Philippines.
Potato Corner has established itself as an international brand with a global presence in 16 countries. It has more than 1,800 stores in Thailand, the UK, Dubai, Australia, Singapore, and China, among others.
Rocks Group co-founder and chief executive officer Chayapatra Thongcharoen (Pong), who operates Potato Corner here in Malaysia, said the brand is believed to have the world’s best-flavoured fries because of two things: quality and premium ingredients. He said each cup is always cooked fresh upon order.
“We only use the highest grade imported shoestring fries, carefully sourced for their solid content, length, and longevity after frying.
“Flavors are our core DNA, and we use high-quality ingredients to create them – quality in every bite is at the heart of everything we do,” Pong said.
