SEM9 Senai Hotel: Malaysia's First Esports Hotel For All Gamers

Well, good news to all of you as SEM9, an e-sports organisation, has opened the first e-sports and gaming hotel in Southeast Asia first E-sports hotel in Johor called SEM9 Senai.

The hotel is just located at Senai Centerpoint, which is only a three-minute drive from Senai International Airport, which is quite convenient for the tourist to travel from the airport to the hotel.

On the outside of the hotel, it may look like a typical hotel. However, what makes SEM9 E-Sport Hotel unique is that every room comes with high-quality PCs and gaming equipment which genuinely resembles a technological masterpiece. The hotel provides a diverse arrangement for different types of clientele; spend a night at this unique hotel that caters to both gamers and non-gamers.

The hotel provides 11 types of rooms for the visitors to choose from, with a breakdown of each room that can be more comfortably divided into four categories. A fun feature is that all the rooms of SEM9 are soundproof.

Equipped with high-performance gaming PCs

The first category has four different types of rooms offering the same facilities, provisioning, and gaming experience – The S9 Double, S9 Double (Half Day), S9 Triple, and S9 Deluxe rooms.

This room’s standard features include air conditioning, a coffeemaker, a wall-mounted television, a telephone, and distinctive LED lighting effects surrounding the ceiling and wall panels. As for toiletries, each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, towels, slippers, and other necessities.

As for the gaming features, the S9 Double is equipped with two LED gaming desktops that enhance the gaming experience. Plus, there are two high-performance gaming PCs with two 24-inch screens and 165 Hz game display monitors. In addition, each room is equipped with a high-speed Internet connection and Wi-Fi, allowing you to play to your heart’s content.

As for the bedroom accommodations, there is one king-sized bed that may comfortably accommodate two persons.

You can book a room for half-day instead of a full night

The S9 Double (Half Day) room has the same layout and features as the S9 Double room, but you can rent it for half a day instead of a full day if you don’t feel like staying the night. Hence of this, the S9 Double (Half Day) doesn’t have a bed in the room but has a sofa bed and a bean bag chair instead, which can accommodate (up to) two people.

The S9 Triple room is a bit different compared to the S9 Double, in which this room it has been equipped with three PCs and three 24-inch screens with 165-hertz gaming monitors, while the S9 Deluxe room has four PCs and four 24-inch screens with 165-hertz gaming monitors.

The S9 Triple room features a bunk bed with one super single and one queen-sized bed, allowing it to accommodate three guests comfortably. While as for the S9 Deluxe it features two queen-sized beds, which comfortably accommodate four people.

PlayStation5 with a wide choice of genres of games

As for the 2nd category, the room is suitable for those gamers that like to play console games. In this 2nd category, the Esport hotel offers two types of rooms for you to choose from that are identical and similar in concept to the S9 Double, which is S9 Cosy and S9 Cosy (Half day).

With identical standard amenities and LED lighting features, the only difference between this room and the others is the gaming consoles provided.

Each room is equipped with a PlayStation 5 and two DualSense wireless controllers. In addition, there is a 46-inch television installed on the wall for gameplay and a separate wall charger for mobile gaming if you want to switch things up. This way, you can use the PS5 to work up a digital sweat or plug in your mobile device for some variety instead.

Gamers paradise

The third category is the S9 Executive room, a combination of both gaming and luxury and is everything you could want in a gamers’ paradise.

The S9 Executive has laid out with a gaming living area and a separate bedroom for the stay. The S9 Executive bedroom features a king-sized bed and a three-seater sofa that can accommodate three to four guests.

As for the gaming features, there are two special LED gaming desks with two ultra-high-performance PCs in the living room. Each PC has its own 24-inch screen with a 165-Hz gaming monitor and special LED lights on the ceiling and walls that engulf you into a real-life video game.

Classic rooms

Last but not least, the fourth category is for non-gamers who want a glimpse of what SEM9 offers.

Four rooms under this category are the S9 Classic King, S9 Classic Twin, S9 Classic Triple, and S9 Classic Deluxe. All rooms have the same standard amenities as the previous room category, only without gaming consoles or PCs.

However, the difference between these four rooms is the number of occupants that may inhabit the room. The S9 Classic King has one king-sized bed, while the S9 Classic Twin has two single beds, the S9 Classic Triple has one queen-sized bed and one single bed, and the S9 Classic Deluxe has two queen-sized beds.
